does anyone else remember casey!! that thing was my best friend for years!! he was a blue robot, and you put tapes in, kind of like teddy ruxpin. i'm looking to see if i can find a picture...

I remember something like this. There were a bunch of similar toys though. Was Casey blue and silver??

Yes! That was Casey! I remember him too!
I can't find a picture of him yet but I did find some pics of the books that went with him.

Boy do I hear you there! There are so many cool toys that were either given to younger cousins or dropped off at the Salvation Army years ago. :(

I think my mom was pretty good about not throwing out any of my toys... but we didn't really have TOO many. But I gave away all my dolls and things that I didn't want when I was 15. I saved my play kitchen set (dishes, pots and pans, etc), Lemon Meringue, CPKs, and a few other "popular" 80s toys. I have way more toys as an adult than I ever had as a kid though!!!
