Marshmallow peeps!!! I want to try making my own this year.

Aw! You are going to make your own peeps, Joyce?! OMG...you will have to show us what you come up with! I always have LOVED Peeps... but since I don't eat sugar I won't be having any :( I DID buy some Peeps socks though and am so tempted to buy other merchandise they have for sale...
I love marshmallows and if there's anything I miss at all, that is it!

Maybe you can make your own peeps with splenda? Although I'm not too sure how they would turn out. I just want to try out a marshmallow recipe with my pastry bag and see what I can make (they need lamb peeps!)

Hmm...I wonder how something like that would turn out with Splenda...or maybe Stevia.
And omg! Lamb peeps would be soooo cute! I think they have cats and cats for halloween...so why not lambs with the bunnies and chicks??? I am betting you will be trying to make some lamb shaped ones, huh?

I know Splenda is supposed to "bake like sugar"... but I don't know how it'd work in marshmallow recipe since you need to basically "heat" the sugar into like a soft ball stage. I tried to see if there were any recipes for sugar free marshmallows... but the closest I saw was a pre-made sugar-free marshmallow fluff.
