Hello Debbie *waving* It's so nice to meet you!!
And your images are the cutest!
I also must say that I loved taking a peek at your collection! WOW!
And soooo cool that you have W.I.T.C.H. dolls (Melanie, did you see it???) I haven't been able to see that cartoon yet but I've read all about it and it looks SO cute!!!

Your Lady Lovely Locks dolls are adorable too and I love MLPs! I have a handful or them (new and vintage). I especially love Summer Wings and Flutter Ponies (and of course, the Collector's ponies) :D

I am so happy you joined us and no pressure to post - we will be happy when you get some time to though

oh man!!! How cute!!! I love your custom pony! And I didn't know there were MLP stampers!!!! LOL... I'm going to be looking for those now too!

Fayelin - March 1, 2005 03:40 PM (GMT)
Hehehe, berryblue, i only have one W.I.T.C.H doll though. And it comes from Euro Disneyland in France. My brother bought it for me as a gift. We don't have the cartoon up yet here in The Netherlands, the cartoon is only showed in Italy. We do have the comic book line up here. It's really fun to read ^_^

berry elvish - March 1, 2005 04:14 PM (GMT)
Oh, I bet we will be getting the toys for W.I.T.C.H. very soon! I love that show. I actually went to look at your collection, Debbie, and I had to run back here to ask where you got that HayLin doll. But, I see it was from Euro Disney. :D The Winx Club is originally an Italian cartoon too. I think it took awhile for the Winx Club toys to catch on, but now I'm having a hard time finding what I want and I feel that with a little more time, W.I.T.C.H. toys will be out in abundance as well. I can't wait! And Hay-Lin is so cute! :willow

Fayelin - March 1, 2005 04:27 PM (GMT)
Yea, she is really cute! And i hope they will broadcast the W.I.T.C.H cartoon show in our countries soon! ^_^

Welcome...wow the Netherlands...so far away and yet so close...I love the internet.
I'm going to check out your pics. I am a Pony collector and a Strawberry Shortcake collector mainly.
Just wondering if most people in your country can speak English, or where/how/why did you learn? I can't really speak anything other than english and a bit of French (I'm Canadian) but I am interested in languages. It helps me a lot when I play trivia games!

Fayelin - March 4, 2005 01:18 PM (GMT)
Hi Purplestar!

Thanks for the welcome!! ^_^
Well, most of the people in my country can speak English, mainly because it's a world language ofcourse, but not all people can speak English properly though hehehe :P
Then again, Dutch people can learn other languages very quickly, because we can use many kinds of voice notes (do you know what i mean by that)
I learned English when i was little. My borthers used to watch a show called The Young Ones, it's a British T.V. serie from the 80's. And there were no subtitles on the video copies we had. So that's how i got to learn English at a very young age.

Hehehehe, i hope you can answer even more Trivia question now

berry elvish - March 4, 2005 03:04 PM (GMT)
Debbie! That is a riot that you learned to speak English by watching The Young Ones! I love that show. I haven't seen it in years, but I do remember the hippie Neil and the punk guy Vivianne. There was also a ska/zootsuit guy and a gross guy. Funny stuff. :ha

Berryblue - March 4, 2005 05:29 PM (GMT)
Wow. Very cool! My stepfather's family is from the Netherlands so it has always been close to my heart. I'll have to ask and find out where the family is exactly and let you know. Maybe you will be familiar with it.

I am also waiting for W.I.T.C.H. to air in Canada. It looks like a really cool cartoon/story. I did see that the Winx Club is italian and it is so neat! :D Man, I love that show...

Fayelin - March 4, 2005 05:34 PM (GMT)
Hehehe, yea, now that i think of it. Very funny actually to learn English from the Young Ones hehehe :P With all their swearing and all. You know...i even took that videotape to junor high school once, the teacher stopped the tape immideatly, hehehe i didn't know why she did that at that time  ...but when i think of it now i can imagine why

The other guys are Rick (Mayal) (the gross guy) and Mike. Hehehe, great show indeed!! :D Great that you know it too BerryBlue! I still laugh my a** of when i watch it, have the first season on DVD and a copy of the second season at home.
