I hated Popeye! My brother watched it in the morning before school. I was never that into He-Man or G.I. Joe either. :P I didn't really care for the Smurfs come to think of it. I loved super hero cartoons though and Jem was truly outrageous! B)

I kind of thought Alvin and the Chipmunks were annoying, but I watched them anyways.

well--I hated watching 'boy' cartoons--my bro and I always had to *share* I got to watch a show--then he did, etc.. :exercise

Shell, that is how my brother and I were, he got one then it was my turn. The shows I didn't really like were the ones he watched mostly, like Smurfs and Popeye. But we both loved Voltron, M.A.S.K., Super Friends, Thundar the Barbarian and things like that.

Maybe that's the advantage of me being the older sister... I don't recall watching any cartoons I didn't like. Not that I bullied him into watching what I wanted... my brother just naturally would like whatever I liked!

I just saw a cartoon on Boomerang that I had to post here. It is called: Jabbajaw! What a stupid cartoon, but I remember watching it. (I also saw Speed Buggy and Shirt Tails on that channel, how cool!)

I loved a ton of cartoons during the 80s. However, if I had to bury one or two of them, I'd have to go with the Rubick's cube one, that cheezy Mr T. olympian cartoon on NBC, and Gilligan's Planet.

This is pretty funny since I love this stuff now but I used to HATE The Hobbit animated movie when I was little. lol The part where Gollum appears scared the crap out of me and scarred me for life, I think... "precious...my precious"
Now, I love all the LOTR stuff and also Anime and Anime looking cartoons. LOL
