I have recently noticed these little cute scented dolls that are lot like SSC. I actually really think these dolls are neat because they have this tiny star on their heads that you push and it releases the dolls scent (like perfume!).

I just looked on the doll's site and they aren't even released yet in the US. I bet they are testing the market here in Canada first. Omg...they are pretty cute.

AND...it also turns out that the founder of the company that released these dolls is the same guy from Mattel that "led the team responsible for the He-man figures, tv show, licensed products, and movie". Very cool!! I think I may actually get one or two of these little dolls (btw, they are about half the size of the new SSC dolls in case you were wondering).

I really LOVE their cartoon versions, Erin. They are very cute...I wish the dolls were slightly bigger, I think they'd be a bit cuter and easier to play with if they were. I do think kids are into tiny or 'lil' dolls at the moment though, so I doubt they'd make them bigger. Man, Kenner/American Greetings sure had it right on with their Strawberry Shortcake line...what a perfect set of dolls

I prefer the cartoon version of the dolls too. I think the main thing I am in love with about these dolls are the scents! LOL I love how they also have individual personalities too...like the Cinnamon scented one is mischievous...and Bubblegum scented one is innocent (then the faces that they have to go with each personality...lol). BUT... the doll's themselves are cheaper looking... reminding me of Liddle Kiddles, really. They have the same sort of build to them. They could've made the actual dolls so much cuter and I bet if they were larger they would've been. I am hoping that they make a cartoon of these dolls. I just love that they are scented though and may buy one just to see what they smell like since I haven't been able to smell them in their packages :(

Oh, I like that they are scented too and I do love their individuality, that is definitely something they have in their favor. How cute would a cartoon be???

Speaking of cute cartoons...have you heard of the comic stories called W.I.T.C.H.?
I just got a graphic novel called The Power of Friendship. It stars these super cute witches names will, irma, taranee, cornelia and hay lin and they have the powers of the four elements and energy. I haven't read it yet, I just bought it yesterday at the kids' school book fair. W.I.T.C.H. I just found out from the website that it IS a cartoon on the Disney channel. I have to TIVO this!

omg this looks so cool and, no, I never saw it before! I will look out for this for sure. It really looks like something I would enjoy.

Oh...and I wanted to tell you that I finally saw the Winx club Lounge set (and of course it was at Zellers and not WM). I was just complaining to Mike about Mattel not putting out any other characters so this news is awesome!!

And Wow!! I watched Mew Mew Power on 4kids.tv (previously Foxbox) yesterday and I am in love with this!! Each character gets their power from a different endangered species. You have to watch this one. Melanie (and some of you others), I know you would love it! It is soooo cute and I love that they are brightly colored, etc... These characters are very, very cool. I am not sure which cartoon I will like more, Winx Club or Mew Mew Power! LOL!!

By the way, Mike put up Mew Mew Power desktop wallpaper for me as a surprise! lol

And these cute little Scent Stars characters are so cute too. I love how Jamie (the one that has popcorn as the scent) has a "cheeky" personality. LOL Although...I remember reading the other day that it was "mischievous" I wonder if they changed it! lol I also think the one named Cindy is really cute. She is "Flirty"! BeeBee's personality is hilarious... she is "innocent" and her scent is Baby Powder. Yes I know. I have since watched the original series (subtitled of course). :D Since watching the original series, the fox version pales in comparison but at least these characters are being introduced to kids in North America. I think they are great! :wub:
