Does anyone know or collect Herself the Elf dolls and goods?.She came a few years after Strawberry Shortcake. :elf

They even had a cartoon special back in 1983.

The dolls look berry cute and looks alot like the vintage Strawberry Shortcake dolls
(1979-1985).

Never had any of em since I was born in 1985 which was the year Strawberry Shortcake and her friends ended. :hksad

Alot of Strawberry Shortcake collectors/sellers sell Herself the Elf dolls,but this one seller on strawberrybonkers.com says it's a knock-off of Strawberry Shortcake,but it's not.They were made the same company American Greetings,but the dolls were made by Mattel as Strawberry Shortcake was made by Kenner.

I love her--there were soo many things for us to get into growing up, lol

I don't have any. I always wanted them though. I remember seeing them on tv. I did win a herself the elf pattern a few months ago. I thought I might try my hand at making giant HTE plushies. :D I also got another pattern to make Taigan some stuff for her room, but I was going to wait until she was older to try it out. I'd like to get some HTE dolls for her room when I do that too. :D

And yes, they are made by Mattel. The big red logo is on the box. I could've swore AGC made them too. :huh:
