Title: Please Help! Anyone Remember This Toy?

This is a longshot but I really loved this toy and no one I've talked to remembers it. It was a fashion set, it came with a doll, roughly 11.5" tall with blond hair. The gimmick was that she had a rubber seam down the sides of her and you used a special tool to push the fabric in the seam to "make" clothes for her. The set came with the doll, a couple of different patterns, and fabric. They also sold add-on sets to cut and "sew" a wedding dress and things like that. You could use the patterns over and over with your own fabric too.
I LOVED playing with this doll, anyone have any idea what she was called?
many many thanks!

This doll sounds awesome. We'll have to get the detective work started. :D

Yes, Welcome!! Welcome!! We are happy to meet you!
We'll start looking around for you. I seem to vaguely remember a doll like this, like maybe a cousin of mine had her or something.
We'll start researching for you :wave

That doesn't ring a bell with me at all!
I do remember a knitting type toy that you could use to make Barbie dresses. It was like a plastic tube with 4 prongs off one end. I know that's not what you were talking about... but this is what I thought of when I read your post!

I know there were no sew barbie outfits--they had this crappy glue stuff... :eww
