UHM...YES, I DO! I remember all of the TRU shopping spree contests when I was kid. I was telling my husband about how it was my dream...and my kids too. They never heard of it. There used to be commercials that showed the kid with his shopping cart and he got like 2 minutes to just run down the isles filling his cart. Oh, the JOY!

OMG :ha I remember that too!!!! :ha I had totally forgotten that! Tooo funny...I think i recall a dreamy like sequence...with cloud-like transition of the kid dreaming... and that "dream" music... *you know what I'm talking about! LOL*

HA! I am always surprised at how many things I am reminded of here in Toyland :D

Well I didn't have time to go to TRU today because Joey works nights and got up too late, but I did check out the thrift store and got 2 Cabbage Patch kids and a CPK carrier/seat. Now to clean them up! :blink: I think one has her original clothes and shoes. They both have a CPK diaper on. Pretty cute...my first ones. It's about time, I think!
I have not seen the amusement park for MLP, but I will be looking for it. We are going to go to TRU this weekend instead.

I remember seeing those TRU shopping spree commericals.Are you talking about the Nickelodeon contests they used to run in the 80s and early 90s.Those were cool seeing everyone get what they want in 2 minutes.LOL. :afro

I saw a My Little Pony commercial which the ponies have pull scooters that make them drive em.LOL B) they are soo berry cute.

I even saw the amusement park pony playset which is soo cool.Wish they had that amusement park and the scooters back in the 1980s when I was little. :(

The playsets are cool,but the old skool ponies will always be my favorite. :wub:

My sister took me out for dinner and we were just about to leave when they brought over a HUGE sundae and 5 spoons and sang Happy Birthday to me. There was soooo much whipped topping...YUM.
We all got a taste :P
I also found another CPK but it has a plastic body and not yarn hair and a hard little belly button. I don't know if it's a preemie or what, but she has auburn hair and violet eyes, very pretty. But she was naked, poor thing, so i bought some doll clothes for her. Purple of course to match the eyes.
