Title: Good Weekend! ?

Shellberry Shortcake - February 5, 2005 08:01 AM (GMT)
soo..what are you all doing this weekend?
I for one--am NOT watching the football game.

blech--I hate sports on tv....

I may turn it on and 'listen' to it though...I think I'm the only one in PA not going to FLA, LOL

:wave

so uh..post and tell me what you are all doing this weekend!
I need some ideas..;)

I'm going to Michael's on Sat... they are have a class preview and fondant cake decorating demo. I'll probably pick up supplies and grocery shop. Sunday, maybe I'll make a cake (or shop if I didn't finish Sat).

Today, I'm running errands. Woo-hoo sounds like fun, eh? I've got to hit the post office in less than an hour or it will be closed (in the next town over since my po closes at 10:30 on Saturdays!), go to Whole Foods to get Stevia and Soy Milk and drop off a mone order at the bank. Hubby is coming along, so we'll probably end up at Agents of Comics, Borders and out for lunch (Applebee's I hope!). :D Sunday is the day we do our grocery shopping. Usually we stop at Walmart for bread and anything else we can't get at Target, then we do most of the shopping at Super Target. We have to do some at Dillons too, this week because they are having a great sale on items that I need. :D That is pretty much how all of my weekends are spent. Glamorous, I know! :sun It's beautiful outside today too.

well, it's Sunday, and I'm at work today. My baby is cutting more teeth and was up all night... actually she fell asleep at 3:45am, but I get up at 4am for work, so I didn't sleep at all last night! yesterday I went to Target to get my grocery shopping done and buy other household junk. oh, and we're having concrete laid around the house, so we had a guy out this weekend grading our yard and tearing up the grass where the concrete will be.
what exciting lives we live! :lambie

lol--sounds like you're all having fun this weekend.. :P

I am now going to sit here and wish I remembered that today was superbowl and didn't list auctions to end tonight...

:wave :exercise

LOL
Mine wasn't too thrilling either. We just ran around picking up odds and ends. On Friday we went on a 2 hr trip to another town that we both had never been to before. The town we visited is really small and there wasn't much to see so it was a short trip. lol

And Melanie! I have to get Stevia and soymilk in a day or two. lol

And I was just thinking of you because I keep seeing ads for Applebee's and WW and wonder if you had been there yet.

I wish there was one here because I'd probably go there every once in a while. Right now, I don't go out to dinner anywhere really because I like to know exactly how my food is prepped and that no bad fats are used, etc... It is just WAY easier to do it myself than to keep tabs on the restaurants.

berry elvish - February 7, 2005 06:06 PM (GMT)
Exactly, Erin. The reason I like Applebee's is because they have an agreement with Weight Watchers to measure out all of the ingredients in their WW meals. So, I know that if I order something I'm allowed to eat every bit of it because the whole thing's points have been totalled. But, I can't gaurantee that they didn't put something that I don't want to eat in it. like trans fats or whatever. Is there a south beach restaurant guide? There is an online guide for weight watchers at Dotti's that I use so I know what is absolutely out of the question. :D

that is the truth! lol

hey Erin--do you get the sb email newsletter? :exercise

purplestar - February 7, 2005 09:17 PM (GMT)
I guess I'm a little late replying to this but that's because I was busy watching the replay of the UFC ppv and then Sunday was the SUPERBOWL!!! I love football and the whole weekend revolves around it. We had a few guys over, no girlfriends or wives because then I have to entertain them and miss the game.
Oh, yeah...my husbands grandparents had their 55th anniversary too!!

Shellberry Shortcake - February 7, 2005 09:50 PM (GMT)
lol purple!
so..did your team win? :wave

Berryblue - February 8, 2005 12:05 AM (GMT)
Awesome purplestar! It sounds like you had a fun weekend! :)

Shell, I did get the SB newsletter until they just stopped sending me it! LOL I still get the Denise Austin one though...and to be honest, I'm a little tired of her.

Melanie, I haven't seen a SB restaurant guide but it would be really cool if I knew of one. I get a lot of info from SB forums and things ... that's usually where I go when I want to find something out quickly. They are great there :D

Shellberry Shortcake - February 8, 2005 02:21 AM (GMT)
OMG!! HAHAAHHA--most of the stuff I post in the diet section is from those newsletters-- :ha
it is nice to look back on.... :wave

purplestar - February 8, 2005 03:40 AM (GMT)
Shellberry, my team did not even make the playoffs!!! (the Giants)
I was rooting for the Patriots though :D , because the Eagles are in the Giants division and they are the enemy so there's no way that I would root for them! :P
