I'm thinking of trying to make my own icon and can anyone help me or give me directions on making one?.The icons I'm thinking of making are My Little Ponies,
Eddie,Met,Autobot logo,Decepticon logo,or super deformed mechas (Voltron,Macross etc).Thank You :grover

Well, one of the rules of thumb is to make it not larger than 30 x 30 pixels. And if you want it to blink or whatever, you'll need an animator. If you just make a character, like Cindie's cool Sesame Street ones, you would just draw out your character in some sort of paint program and save it as a .gif file. A big help is if you zoom your image really large while you are drawing on it.

I'm not sure if there is a tutorial out there, and I know that other people like Cindie or Erin could give you better tips than me. I'm hoping that Cindie will animate some of her icons when she gets her psp program. *hint hint*

Yep you need an animation program...like Paint Shop Pro or Ulead.
If it's just an icon (about the size of RBB next to some members names) make your image around 30 x 30 pixels (as Melanie mentioned above).

Yep there are other tutorials besides the one on my art site.
You could just draw a pixel character of your choice with MS Paint program if you don't have an animation program. :D
