Title: I Found Treasure!!!
Description: I am bragging here

I have been known to complain that I can't find MLP around very often. Well today I made my bi-weekly trip to the secondhand store and lo and behold...PONIES. A whole bag of 12 for $3.99 Canadian dollars! And they are very nice after being washed. And only 3 are doubles. And 3 are Twice as Fancy. And 2 Princesses. And there's more.
I also found a Charmkins house with figures and accessories.
I also found an old SSC book/record about Angelcake and Souffle for $0.49
I also found a SSC laptray from 1981 with no rust and only a tiny divot, not even a dent, for $3.99.
And a whole bunch more for my daughter and for selling. The charmkins might be going up on ebay, I have never even seen them before, but I recognize the name so I bought it. HOWEVER, they are really cute, so I will probably just end up buying more from ebay instead. I really need a bigger house with more display-ability.
I love a bargain. To top it all off, I filled up my stamp card, so next time I go there I will get 25% off my stuff. WooHoo!
:wave Sweet dreams

If your looking for old mlp it's a shame you don't live by me. I live not to far from the menge ave flea market(it's right on I-10) and a friend sells them for .50 apiece(less for me) ,but he always has a ton of them. All he does is sell toys.He travels to other flea markets around the u.s. just collecting more toys to sell.My family gets alot of stuff from him.He also trades toys as well.

50 cents!!!!!
You are lucky.
Ever think of buying them and reselling them? Even if they are in bad shape, people on ebay pay a fair amount of money for "bait" ponies to fix up and customize. And you might find a rare pony. in the bunch I just got, I found a Twice as fancy Night Glider. I found a value on The MLP collectors website of $10-$50. Not too shabby...but i'm keeping her so the price doesn't really matter. It is just nice to know that I have something a little special.

The only Flea Market that's near me is Hollis,NH,Salem,NH,and Londonderry,NH.

I checked out some Thrift Stores near me.Not much.

My church up in Hudson,NH I found Sonic the Hedgehog sound making book and a Sonic the Hedgehog jr novel at their annual yard sale.

I learned to get to good stuff at a yard sale you have to go when it starts since they guy told me they sold 80s Transformers and Glo-Worms.

Sometimes I don't trust buying Transformers or 80s stuffed animals at yard sales.

For Transformers, people don't care and they throw them all in and they get broken.

One year a while ago,I bought a Hello Kitty doll from 1983 and it was full of dust.
It was sooo dusty that I got sick from it.

YAY! purplestar, that is just awesome! I am super excited for you! I just love checking out second hand stores and yard sales. You must've been thrilled that you finally found some MLPs too. It's great that you got yourself a Night Glider now! Woohoo!

And Charmkins are really cool! I used to LOVE them when I was little. I had this one set that basically were sunglasses and the two little charmkin girls fit into the glasses (one on each side). They were twins! You could take them off and play with them and when you finished you just stuck them back up on your sunglasses! Oh! And they smelled sooooo nice too! :)
