RollChan1985 - January 21, 2005 01:23 AM (GMT)
Remember when the Glo-Worm had it's own cartoon back in the 80's called the
Glo-Friends?.They had different glo-bugs like Glo-Snail (my favorite),Glo-Granny-
bug etc.

I remember watching the cartoon when I was 4-5 years old and don't remember much about the story, but I remember the theme....

were glo-friends.......

 LOL that's all I remember

Does anyone have any tapes or info on Glo-Friends?.

:sleep

I do remember watching that, and loving it! My 9-month old daughter has a gloworm, and that is her favorite toy... she hugs it and kisses it all the time!

I haven't seen any vintage gloworm or glofriend items though!

Yes, I remember watching the Glo-friends... but I don't remember what it was about either. I think it ran with another cartoon in that time slot too? (Can't remember which one now though!)

Last person who asked me which cartoon Glo-Friends was aired with,it aired with My Little Pony,Moondreamers, and Potatohead Kids (if you remember that).

Here's a pic of my favorite Glo-Friend.....the Glo-Snail. ^_^

Cute isn't he.......

I remember having a couple more Glo-Friends back when I was living in Kingston,NY,but I don't remember which ones they are. :(

I remember whenever I would go to sleep,I placed one of my Glo-Friends near my bed and believed that they would get rid of my bad dreams when I was 3 or 4 yrs old.LOL. B)

I definitely remember the toys, but not the tv show. I watched very little television really, like two hours a day max...except on Saturdays. :D How cute that you put them next to your bed at night to keep away bad dreams. :D My daughter has a glow worm, but you have to squeeze him just right to light him up and she doesn't have the hang of it yet. Her bed is filled with 'babies'. I had to take out the crib and give her a twin sized bed so there'd be room for her to sleep in there. I mean she has stuffed kitties, puppies, 4 teletubbies, her cpk, a giant simba, all the care bear cousins (small beanies), a Hugga Bunch doll, Barbies, MLP, RBB and the sprites. Usually I try to take out the mlp and rbb and barbies when I cover her up and they all have blankets too! *sigh* she has too many toys. :ugh

OMG They all have blankets too!?!? I can't even imagine! It must take you forever to tuck her in! LOL LOL I think I'd probably take a few more of her little babies just because of all the tucking! LOL!!! Too funny!!

I certainly remember Glo-worms but I don't remember ever watching the show. I do remember watching the Potatohead kids and MLP but at this time my little sister was way more into that type of cartoon block.
And, like Melanie, I don't really remember watching too much tv other than Saturday morning cartoons. lol I was outside or doing art stuff way too much! :D

Well, they share blankets, Erin. I straighten them up and put their blankets on...they have two baby blankets...while Taigan is putting on her PJ's. It doesn't take that long really, LOL

Phew! LOL I was worried there! I was actually thinking that they each had their own little blanket! Man, can you imagine that?!?! LOL!!!

LOL... my stuffed toys and dolls have their own blankets too. But I don't have enough to go around anymore and they have to share. My lambs have sleeping bags too, so sometimes it's a lamb covered in a blanket inside a sleeping bag! My childhood CPKs use my brother's blankets from naptime when he was in preschool!

OH! I think it must be the My Little Pony that I remember airing with the Glo-friends. I don't remember the moondreamers cartoon and I vaguely recall the potatoheads!

omg! those are glo bugs!
I sold some MIP a while ago & I had a movie and book as well....

I think there was a set of 6 to go along with the cartoons--and they each had a little sleeping bag
