Does anyone know about this toy called the Smooshies?.It's a small pillow figure
(cat, dog, etc) and you squish it into a doghouse or box.Back in Kindergarden,I used to have the Smooshies pen, barette, and even the house too. Those toys were sooo cool. B)

I know this one store sells smooshies.

Yes! My little sister had these and loved them. I remember her having the baby that you "smooshed" into a yellow baby carriage. I am pretty sure she had the house that was in one of the pics here too. :)

aww! I remember those and puffalumps--you can find a good deal on the smooshies on ebay sometimes--with all their accessories

LOL I just was thinking...I always see a ton of Puffalumps at yard sales in the summer and I'd always point them out to my hubby, saying "Hey look! A puffalump!!" He was never impressed, not even once.

Erin-they do seem to pop up at yard sales a lot, lol
I see them quite often..

I wonder if anyone collects them?

Was there a Puffalump cartoon? I see them around all the time... I guess no one wants them or they'd be harder to find!

I think they kept making them into the late 90's--I know I saw one dated 95 for a baby.
I don't recall cartoons--but I do remember books...

I don't know of anyone who collects them & I don't think they are a big seller on ebay

I don't recall smooshies. They sound funny. I did sell some puffalumps on ebay. A cow, a bunny and a baby for $10.00us. So if you can find them really cheap, it might be worth it. Most people that I sell to seem to prefer lots rather than single items. And puffalumps are so light and squishy that it is just as cheap to send a bunch.

That's true. You could really squeeze some all together and ship them out.
I guess a lot of people like them for little babies and things. They were made by Fisher Price and were geared more toward babies and toddlers.
I have seen some that were made in the late 90s too.
