Yes, it's true. Nick & I will be moving
into our new apartment on January 25th-- his days off.
We're very excited & can't wait to get in there and make
it our own. I personally love the apt., the area, and the
people there. It'll be a huge improvement from where we
are now, since we took this place out of necessity being that
we had just moved back from Memphis. Our options were very
limited. We currently have house / landlord issues, but luckily,
we won't have them much longer. :)
At least we will be in a nice, friendly, & welcoming
environment that we can feel comfortable living in. We
have a year lease there, which is a good step up from
6 month leases. Man, moving gets old fast
Oh, and they allow pets at the apartments, unlike our
current place  We can't wait to adopt a small
furbaby. Nick & I grew up with pets and not having one
is strange to us to say the least.
Nick ended up giving Rachel (our St. Bernard) to a Mem.
neighbor friend of ours who lovingly asked for her & is
providing her with everything she needs, since the last
place Nick rented in TN before we came back to LA did
not allow large pets :( But as I said, at least we know she
is in a loving home, and we can visit her anytime we're in
the area. :)
Another plus to moving again (hopefully for the last time
until we buy our own) is that keeping up with the house-
work should be easier compared to this monster of a
house. Also, the apartment is closer to Nick's job & will
make it easier on us to make wedding plans & find my
dream job, since the city is larger than where we are now.
Anyway, that's pretty much my update in a nutshell TTFN~!
;) Thanks for the update, Shan and good luck with the move. I too hope it's a more permanant outcome for you both. It sounds like this is a really positive thing in your lives right now and that's awesome!
Thanks Melanie! It feels really good. :)
Here's to hoping 2007 has lots of positive
opportunities / outcomes for everyone on the board!
I know how it is to move.I myself am looking for something more permanent.we are trying to get a house built so we don't have to worry about moving ever again.I hate moving.
Hey wildfire. I definitely know what you mean. I'd love to be able to build our house or buy one, but that'll be awhile yet.
How long do you have to go before your home is ready to be moved into?
