Title: The Peculiar Purple Pieman's "Song and Dance"
Description: What Do You Think?

This is something that has been on my mind for awhile. Have you ever wondered about the Peculiar Purple Pieman's "song and dance" from the SSC cartoons. You know the one I'm talking about:

"Yah-tah-tah-tah-tah-tah-tah-tah, tah-tah-tah-tah! Cha!"

The question is, do you think it was scripted, or do you think the Pieman's voice actor (Robert Ridgely) ad-libbed that, or do you think it was scripted?

IMHO, I think he ad-libbed it to be funny in the first SSC cartoon, "The World of Strawberry Shortcake," and the Powers That Be liked it so much, they wrote it into the rest of them!

I voted 'scripted' just to be different. :P
