The latest additions to my family. :D I did a bad thing and brought home three cute and cuddly kittens and declared that they were to live indoors...despite my husband's wishes. He's quite warmed up to them now. ;)

Here is Cedric. He's soft, fluffy, a bit clumsy, a bit too fat to do as much as his siblings, and my personal fave.


This is Sango. Her name was originally Little Momma Gordon Lightfoot, so on occasion I still call her Gordon. My husband claims this kitten as his own, though I am the one who does all of the dirty work. :lol: Sango (Song-go), is the most loving of the three. She's very pretty with some golden brown spots of fur on her head and mottled throughout her body. Pictures do not do her justice! She's a great tree climber and I can tell that she's going to make one heckuva mouse catcher.


Last, but certainly not least, is Kazander. Taigan, my daughter, has claimed him as her familiar. Kazander is very much the Isulki Warrior that he was named after. He's the most rambunctious of the three and I'd swear at times, the other two time their naps to coincide with his playful times!


The aesthetic differences between Cedric and Kazander are something I'd like to note here. If they were both sitting together with their backs to you, you'd notice that Cedric is much darker all over, however, when they are not together, you must look at their faces. If you can look down and see white on the face, it's Cedric. Cedric has white from his forehead down and he has a pink nose. Kazander has a dark face, with a black nose and then his white starts around his mouth. He also has sort of a cream eyeliner under his eyes, as does Sango. Kazander has more tiger stripes in his dark fur and I think that once they are bigger there will be no problems telling them apart even from across the room.

oh my goodness! Your kitties are sooooo cute!!! Cedric looks just like the kitten I'd pick for myself (I like his dark color and the white patch on his face). Adorable! :hkhappy

I forgot to mention that they were born the week of my birthday...so were all of my ferrets. I love that. But, that means that the kittens are just about old enough to have their first set of shots and deworming medicine. I need to find an inexpensive vet around here. I only know of one vet on the west side that deals with ferrets and I took Kiyoshi there when he got sick...but, I take them back home to my regular vet in Enid for their regular visits because I know the vet there and he's very knowledgable about ferrets. But, kittens are all new territory for me. Can you believe I've never had a cat before? My mom has always had a cat or two...always Siamese too, so they are ever just hers. There os a vet in the next town (Goddard, which is between me and Wichita) that I'll probably be giving a call within a week or two.

And then we'll have to schedule the operations! Kazander will be first to get clipped...he's so aggressive during play time.

Cedric is so sweet, well they all are, but Cedric is my heart. As soon as he sees me I can hear his motor start running! That is what Jon calls their purring. :wub:

I love your kittens soooo much!! They all sound so sweet and awesome and fun!!! I want one soooo badly!!! My mother would never let us have any pets (but goldfish).

oh, congratulations!!!! they are SOOOOO adorable!!! I like Cedric best too... so cute! where did you get them??? the good thing about cats is they potty-train themselves. I'm so happy for you!!! :D

omg!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! they are SOOOO cute!! we plan on getting a kitten for fat ruby to play with--but they say it isnt good to get a kitten in the early moonths of pregnancy--drat! <_<
