When I get the money,I'm thinking of going to the Flea Markets in my area and trying to buy vintage MLPs :mlp .How much do they cost at a Flea Market from mint condition to not so good conditions?.Did anyone ever buy any vintage ponies from Flea Markets?.I'm also berry curious about buying vintage ponies at thrift stores. How much do they cost at a thrift store?.

Our local Goodwills often have fair/good condition MLPs. They're pretty easy to find, but they normally come in a big bag of small assorted toys for $1.99. I also see them at other thrift stores but it seems like they are more expensive at the others!

I've gotten some at flea marts for like a quarter--the best thing is you can actually see them before you buy them.
I guess whatever you are willing to haggle is a good price

I visit the local flea market every Saturday and Sunday. I usually don't have much luck. Maybe five or so good finds a year. We have a ton of ebayers in my area that scan the market at 5 AM so things are mostly picked when I get there at 6 or 7 AM. Then there are these toy collector guys that sell really bad condition ponies for $10 each. When others hear those crazy prices they start demanding them for theirs. :grr

You never know what you'll find though. Just try looking early in the morning and don't be afraid to look under the tables. Good luck!

Yeah, I go yardsaling, fleamarketing and thrifting every saturday and sunday, usually I wake up at 6am to get the best chance of finding anything (most of these things don't start until 7 or 8 anyways). But I hardly ever find anything at all. For example, yesterday I went to one huge fleamarket (got there by 7), and then went to about 12 or so yardsales after that, and all I found were 2 vintage care bears VHSs for $1 each (not a great price, but I bought them anyways); no ponies or pony items. Last week I went yardsaling and thrifting both Sat and Sunday, and all I found was an 80s MLP book. It was a nice find, but that's all I'd found in weeks. I frequent many thrift stores, and have NEVER found a single MLP or MLP item in a thrift store in my area. I have found a vintage MLP sleeping bag at a thrift store when I was on vacation in Ohio, but that's all I've ever found at thrift stores ever (and I go often enough).

I think a lot of it depends where you are. I hear of people in certain areas who find ponies all the time, but in other areas, they seem much more difficult to come by.

As for price, I agree that it really depends where you go. Some people are ridiculous and try to charge $10 per pony for really common, poor condition ponies. Other times you can find a bunch of lovelies for a quarter apiece; it just depends.
