Title: Playing with toys
Description: Does anyone still play with them?

How many people still play with their toys? I'm 20 and play with my sylvanians. Some people keep them in boxes or plastic bags in drawers for protection, but I have mine on display and play with them.

So what does everyone else do with their collections?

I'm nearly 23 and I do  and have the webcomic to prove it:
Playing with them is fun! :P

I'm 21 years old and I still play and love My Little Pony. :mlp It brings me back to my childhood and they are so berry cute. :wave When I get a job and get money,I would re-collect the vintage ponies and MLP like lines like Darling Dino's,Magic Kissing Dragons etc.

Not quite like I used to (like when I was 8). I still "play" a little bit with my CPKs... like dressing them or taking photos, but other than that, not so much anymore. I guess I mostly "played" with them with other people. But they are living vicariously through my Sims 2 game where I recreated all my childhood CPKs (and their boyfriends). :cpk I had trouble replicating my "house" in it though (ie, my childhood bedroom, which was like their "home").

I wish I could still play with my toys like I used to when I was a kid! I don't have whatever it is that kids (and some adults still) have. I love that my daughter will come into my office and quietly begin playing with my toys. She's whispering and having quiet adventures and conversations that I can't take part in anymore, but I remember that place. I loved imaginative play as a child so much. I do dress dolls/figures and I set them up on my shelves and I handle the toys and welcome other people to touch them and play with them (under my watchful eye, of course!), but I'd have to say that I don't really play with my toys anymore.

I guess I have less desire for fantasy play when I have too much of "real life" to deal with already. Of course, I don't have kids yet, so my CPK are my kids still... :cpk

It is when I have too many RL troubles that I play with my ponies even more. It is my safe place I guess

Good point, Joycie. Besides, if you did have a human kid, then, your cpk would probably be adopted by that kid and then you'd be a Grandma! Like me. Taigan has E v e r y single O n e of my cpk in her room right now, I kid you not!

I don't play with them, unless it's with my 2-yr old. But :agree I will dress them and pose them for pictures. and that's fun! they just don't have actual "scenarios". :P

LOL No, I just meant that I no longer pretend to bake a cake or cook dinner... I just do that for real! I do have little birthday parties and such for my CPKs and stuff, but like I said I don't have kids yet!

LOL How true!!! My CPKs call my mother "grandma"!

How cute about Taigan!!! But I thought she told you before that you were the mama to all the CPKs and she was their sister! I guess she decided she was their mama now!
