Please choose an answer. One of mine or create your own in your post, by selecting 'other'. I am seriously considering deboxing a lot of my toys!

i just deboxed a gremlins mohawk toy i have, he isn't vintage or anything but i still have the box, i also had my little pony petite ponies that i deboxed and i kind of regret doing that. i am also thinking of deboxing my sunriser horse but i'm not sure of that.
what toys are you thinking of deboxing?

I debox, but if it's really something rare, I'd feel bad about doing it! But I'm happier with them deboxed. I try to get things without the box 'cause if it came with the box, I just end up keeping the box, and that takes up space I don't have. Actually, if it is something I don't ever want to sell, I would debox. I keep the box in case one day I do want to display it with the box. LOL I got rid of my boxed SSC though.

I do like the way collections are displayed with things all in the box though. It looks more "uniform" that way. But now without a toy room, I rather not have them that way, and the boxes are in storage, while my toys are out!

I've just deboxed my new Playmates Strawberry Shortcake dolls! I love them. I don't even have them displayed, I just stuck them in a basket and let my daughter play with them in my room.

I do the same thing, Joyce. I keep the boxes. This time, I only cut out the berry points and threw all of the rest away, but I have boxes full of boxes and card backs in my garage. I can't part with the card backs of action figures because I used to collect all of the little guns/lightsabers/accessories in a lunch box and give the figures to the kids, so I need to match them all up one day...or at least know what I've got to sell, you know?

I think that any toys that are hard to display out of their box shouldn't be deboxed. I only have two mlp nrfb because they are a two pack and were given to me as a gift from a berry good friend, but I'll probably open those up eventually too! I can't bring myself to debox my Bandai Strawberry Shortcake though. I probably never will, nor will I debox any of my Star Wars action figures...they are too hard to display out of the packaging.

I picked number 4 lol--I dont debox--I l ove all my stuff mib...I don't know why...usually when I buy 2 of something-I take one out of the box....then love it for like 5 minutes...and wish I never too it out, lol

some of my stuff I debox. all my recent my little ponys for instance- most of them I've taken out. however, if one has too many little accessories that would be hard to keep track of- they stay locked up. I also leave in the box ponies that would loose their beauty if I took them out- like the new curly haired G3 pony. if I take her out, those curls are gonna start to frizz.

I'm glad that your daughter gets to play with the SSC, Mel! I'm bad about the packaging. I tend to want to keep all the packaging, so it's better if I get it without the box! Fortunately for me, I was able to trade all my MIB Bandai dolls for loose (I only kept 1 of each doll), so then I didn't have to feel bad about deboxing, and I figured someone who wanted a set of MIB dolls could have them!

I take my stuff out of the box. With dolls and MLP, I like to brush their hair. However, I have never bought a vintage MLP MIB, or MOC. All of my MLP's came from Ebay loose. I don't buy MIB very often.

I have bought some dolls MIB, and I have deboxed, but I have kept the boxes (my Great Shape Barbie, for example). I don't know, I just don't like keeping things in the box.
