Title: golden girl

ive been tracking down the golden girl figures these past few months, i just received wild one today but her package was all water damaged and mildewy. it was pretty gross. luckily the figure itself is fine, BUT her cape is pretty gross. its made of terry cloth, i was curious if anyone knew if it could be washed? i was thinking of just throwing it in the washer, or hand washing it. it'll probably get ruined but its not like i can use it in the condition its in. anyone have any insight on this matter? thanks in advance.

What color is her cape? If it's bleach-able, I'd definitely soak it in a weak bleach solution and hand wash it. I have machine washed Strawberry Shortcake clothes; the first time, they came out beautiful, but the second time ruined some things. I now hand wash all of my vintage doll clothes.

thanks! i tried hand washing it earlier, it took out maybe one or two of the stains but it still looks really dingy, i even tried using a shout stain remover. its white, i guess ill try bleach, its worth a shot, it cant really ruin it at this point. thanks for the pointer.
