Hi. I go by purplestar on most sites and purplegiant 49er on ebay. I am 32 years old with 1 man, 1 son, 1 daughter, 1 dog- a Great Pyrenees, 4 cats- one is a rescued stray and so is another but I'm looking for a home for him, 2 bearded dragon lizards, 2 guinea pigs and 1 newt. My mother never let me have pets when I was a kid!
My sister and I collected SSC and MLP. She gave me all her stuff and now I'm addicted. I customize ponies for myself and for sale. I am always happy to find other grown ups with similar interests. I also love the darker side of things, like horror movies, vampires and scary stuff in general. So I think it all balances out in the end!
We also collect hockey and football cards and McFarlanes, LOTR and Star Wars. I am starting to get into Hellboy comics, but they are newer.

Welcome to the Toyland! I used to collect McFarlane, tough not Spawn. I hardly have any left, expect they Mythology things, like Medusa and the Centaur. I also collect LotR. Nice to meet you!!

Hi Purplestar! From reading your intro, it sounds like we have a lot of things in common already! LOL I also love customizing dolls and ponies. I collect primarily SSC and MLP but I do seem to have multiple smaller "collections" that were completely unintentional :hemanwink
I love horror movies and scary stuff too and I even collect Living Dead Dolls and Bleeding Edge Goths (as does at least another TL member here *wink wink*)

Well, I just happen to have pictures of my puppy. His name is Axl and he is 5 months old, but only 3 months in the pics. He is going to be a giant dog when he's all grown up. Pyrs, as they are called by their breeders, are very excellent with children and other pets. They are a flock/herd guarding breed, not a herding dog though. I saw a show on Animal Planet that said 2 Pyrs could take down a bear if necessary. Of course there are no bears near me, but that tells you how powerful they are. But they are gentle giants really. They are in the Mastiff family, like a St. Bernard or a Newfoundland dog. I just love him. I am a big believer that all kids should have a dog or a pet.
I hope that I can get this to work...I am terrible with technical stuff!
I also have some pics of my Horror Ponies. I'll see if I can get them on here. And I am so glad to have found this board. I am constantly online searching MLP and SSC.
