I own the Ponyville Community & also visit several other boards in my spare time including Rainbowland, Forever Friends Care Bears, MLP Arena, & just recently Play Along CPKs. Pets?: Just got a Drataar (sp?) puppy, her name is Molly & she is 4 months. She is a specific breed of Wire Haired Pointers from Germany, that have a strict hunting blood-line. She is mainly my dad's & brother's dog for hunting. :P

Location: USA-Texas... VERY South... I describe the Rio Grande Valley as being 30 minutes from the Mexican border & 30 minutes from the Gulf Coast border.

Occupation: Sales Associate at Pier 1 Imports, since March 2005.

What do you collect?: Seriously... this question should be What don't you collect? :lol: I collect G1 & G3 MLP, Rainbow Brite, 80s Strawberry Shortcake, Care Bears Plush, anything Mickey Mouse (especially Sorcerer Mickey!), some Barbie/Kelly dolls, Disney Pins, anything dealing with Lilo & Stitch, fairies, unicorns, Cabbage Patch Kids (mainly Babies), Get Along Gang, Popples, Yum Yums, & stuff containing the word "Faith".

My name is Melanie and I'm a Gemini too. ;) I collect Star Wars, Strawberry Shortcake, The Tick, anything Jim Hensen/Creature Shop/Brian Froud/Muppets/Fraggles and some other things. I love video games and some new toys, like CPK babies and newborns, MLP, Littlest Pet Shop, and Hamtaro. I can't believe I forgot to mention Sailor Moon as one of my favorites! :o I don't collect much from Sailor Moon, have all the tapes/DVDs of episodes & a few dolls & nicknacks... but I LOVE Sailor Venus. She is my absolute favorite. As for ponies... they were a HUGE obsession of mine when I was a child & then back in 2003 as well... I have lots of ponies now, but my excitement for them has died. That is Minako (Sailor Venus) in the picture with my persona in pony form Tickled Sunriser... then Artemis (Mina's cat) getting jealous. :lol: :D I just love that pic, one of my favorites. ^_^

:hkhappy Hi Deena & welcome! As some of the others have already mentioned, that's a great intro. I think I've seen you around Rainbowland, too. I collect lots of things myself. I have lots of Winnie the Pooh, faeries, angels, 80s character Tees, and lots of other random things, especially 80s related. I also recently started my own online magazine devoted to the 80s. It keeps me busy, and I love doing it. :P

I collect Strawberry Shortcake, some Rainbow Brite, some Care bears things like mugs and stuff, My Little Ponies (80s and only those I really love - a pony collection can get way out of hand very quickly! lol), Glamour Gals, misc. Barbies (in box and out), Sea Wees (I only have one so you have me beat Melanie! lol), and various 80s mugs and anything else I think is cool and useful.

I love it as well. :D Just to share... my first online name for chatrooms was Venus back when the internet was getting popular, like in 1995... it quickly changed to Veeny (a nickname someone gave me as Venus), as Venus became taken everywhere I tried to sign up. Then my first message board was the Rainbowland board, WAY back when they started off on EzBoard (yes, that long ago). Anyways... I wanted to drop being Veeny since everyone else had RB related names. I wanted to be Tickled Pink, since she was my favorite character, but it was already being used by another member... so I combined the two RB characters Tickled Pink & Sunriser, then Tickled Sunriser was born. :)
